A Woman Like Her is a short film in response to Sephora's question, "What is Beauty?".
The film depicts a young Muslim woman and her valiant struggle between fitting into society and serving God, exploring the relationship therein.
A Woman Like Her provides a narrative that challenges others of its kind – in a society where the hijab is seen as oppressive, it explores an alternative perspective, one that the Muslim world has been trying to explain to the West since the advent of third-wave feminism.
